The memory of the words exchanged with people that I will not meet more, feel smell of a cake eaten for case in a place for case and…not forget more the sapore..

Conserve of every place the colors, the scents, the culture.

I'm Italia of the south, I have 35 years and two beautiful twin children . Open this blog is for me like opening the doors of my house, propose my recipes and receive the yours, make known to you our traditions and know those yours, to make along travel through the wealth of the foods that my earth offers every day and portami to house something of yours. Valentines between love and tradition

Valentine's Day is coming and all ready to find the right gift, a romantic restaurant or the original idea to surprise.
 Is the protector of lovers, is celebrated on February 14 and in Italy of some municipalities is the patron saint
In puglia there is a beautiful country, Vico del Gargano that celebrates with craft fairs, stalls selling local produce and a characteristic procession of the relic of the saint through the streets of the village decorated for the Occasion with oranges and bay leaf.
It seems to be tradition that the night of 14, lovers exchange this fruit as a gift of love.
Some years ago have been for some days  in Vico del Gargano, I have to say is that I found very characteristic, it is considered among in fact the most beautiful villages in Italy.
During my vacation I could see Vieste, Peschici, the Umbra forest, and much more, but I'll get better another time.
Currently I take this opportunity to dust off some recipes that require orange to pay homage to this ancient tradition and ..to my love!!!
